Truthfully, it would be an honour to capture a moment of your journey with you.
“It goes so fast!” fellow mothers will tell you. You’ll smile and nod, wondering if the newborn nights could go any slower. But as days turn to weeks, and weeks turn into months, if you get the chance to stop you’ll wonder where the time went.
Season’s will change, birthday’s will come around and it’s precious photographs that we’re left with to guide us through our memories.
I’m a film photographer living and working in Byron Bay, New South Wales, though my roots trace back to the English countryside where I first fell in love with photography. It was there that I studied the art of capturing light, texture, and emotion - skills that quietly shaped the way I now see the world through my lens.
Motherhood changed everything.
It softened my gaze, deepened my sensitivity, and showed me just how fleeting, sacred, and beautiful the everyday moments are. With film as my medium, I seek to document the quiet magic of motherhood in its raw, unposed form -Sunlight through a window, a hand on a belly, the way a child melts into their mother’s arms.
Each image is a love letter to the present moment; Honest, tender, and timeless. My hope is to create not just photographs, but heirlooms that carry feeling, memory, and the quiet poetry of your story.
